Paneer Jalfrezi || Indian cottage cheese (Paneer) with spices and vegetables.



Paneer Jalfrezi (Indian cottage cheese(paneer) with mixed vegetable and spices.
Experience the taste of hot and spicy paneer jalfrezi in the comfort of home.
 Restaurant style  Jalfrezi  is colorful , healthy Indian vegetarian dish. So here I present the recipe of paneer jalfrezi step by step.



Step by Step recipe of Paneer Jalfrezi:

-     -Chop all the vegetable in long strips (onions,capsicum,tomatoes,carrots) and grate ginger and garlic.


-      Now Heat oil in a large Pan add cumin seeds(jeera) and Aniseed (Saunf).


-      When cumin seed and aniseed sizzle and turn golden brown add ginger and garlic. Dry red chilly(optional).


-      Now add onions ,when onions turn soft and translucent add carrots sauté for 2 mins then add capsicum and tomatos.


-Add salt ,red chilli powder , turmeric, garam masala ,coriander powder.



-       Add tomato puree and cook for 5 mins then add paneer cubes.



-Now add Malai(fresh cream).


- Mix again and remove from the flame. Serve hot and garnish it with mint leaves.




Recipe :

Ingredients:

300gm Paneer, cut into cubes.
1tsp cumin seed (jeera)
1tsp aniseed(saunf)
1 onion sliced,
1/2 capsicum, thinly Sliced
1 Carrot thinly Sliced
1 Tomato thinly sliced
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 tsp freshly minced ginger
1tsp freshly minced garlic
3/4 tsp of red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
1tsp garam masala(i used kitchen king masala)
2tbsp fresh cream.

 Procedure:

-Heat oil into a pan ,add cumin seeds ,aniseed,
 dry red chilly, fresh ginger ,fresh garlic. Stir fry for one minute.

-add the sliced onions ,saute for two or three minutes . add all the sliced veggies.Cover and cook the veggies on a low flame.

-Meanwhile make a puree of the tomatoes in a blender and add .

-Now add red chilli powder , coriander , turmeric, salt , garam masala now stir for a minute.
-Add Paneer cubes and cream and mix well for two minutes.
-Now remove from flame serve hot and garnish it with mint leaves.

Notes:
You can use canned tomatoes instead of fresh pureed tomatoes. You 
can also add baby corn.

Double Chocolate Chip Frappucino || How to Make Double Chocolate Chip Frappucino Starbucks Style





Double Chocolate Chip Frappucino Starbucks Style . Yes, You Read it right Its Starbucks Style.
If you say Its Not same In Looking but I am sure you Will Say Oh Yes its Same as starbucks when you will taste it.
Starbucks Coffees Are A bit different Yet Tastes Heavenly. Its too tasty and costly too but its my favourite so I tried it with different ingredients.
Now I came to a recipe which is sure shot style that is just copy of starbucks style.



Step By Step Recipe Of Double chocolate chip

  Frappucino:


- In a Blender Take  ice cubes , Chocochips and Vanilla Ice cream.


-      Now Add Milk ,Dark chocolate syrup and liquid coffee (coffee and water blended together).


-     -Blend this mixture very well and Garnish It with cream Frosting and chocolate rice.




Recipe :

Ingredients

½ cup Milk
1 cup Ice
3 Tbsp dark chocolate syrup
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
3 tbsp Chocolate Chips
2 Scoops of vanilla icecream
1 Tbsp coffee Powder
1 Tbsp Water
Whipped cream & chocolate rice for garnishing.


Procedure :

-In a Blender , Add ice 
chocolate chips,
dark chocolate syrup,
ice cream,
Vanila essence,
coffee,
water,
milk.


-Now Blend all the ingredients very well at a high speed.

-Pour in a jar or glass now with whipping cream and chocolate rice garnish it.

Serve Chilled.

Kanda Poha or Onion Poha || How to Make Mumbai road side Kanda Poha..


Kanda Poha or Onion Poha is a Popular Maharashtrian Breakfast or a Tea time snack.
Its light and healthy because it can be made with less oil so less calories. If You want to eat light in morning time it’s a good option.
Poha is Flattened rice tossed with the traditional Tempering of mustard seeds,chillies ,curry leaves and lots of chopped onions (Kanda).
My Mom used to make poha for breakfasts many times as its my dad’s Fav Breakfast option with lots of namkeen(spicy Sev).
There are lots and lots of recipes for poha every one have a different version in there family.
so this is my version of poha same as we can find in mumbai road side.

Step By Step Recipe For Kanda Poha :

-  Rinse the poha in clean running water in a strainer . make sure that you do not rinse it too much or else it breaks and gets mushy. while rinsing, the poha absorbs enough water and it becomes soft. the poha must become soft but remain intact, whole and separate. if the poha does not become soft, sprinkle few drops of water on the poha in the strainer till they get softened.

-Roast the Peanuts in a Pan till they Become crunchy . Keep it aside.


-In a Kadai Or Pan ,Add the Mustard Seeds/Rai to  Hot oil.When they Splunter ,Add Cumin Seeds/Jeera.


-now add the curry leaves, green chili and Now,add the onions. saute the onions till they become translucent and soften.


-Add Salt , Turmeric/haldi ,Sugar and sauté it. Add the Poha.


- add roasted peanuts ,mix gently with the rest of the mixture. switch off the flame and cover the pan tightly with a lid for the poha to get steamed for a few minutes. 
Serve Hot with lemon wedges.




 Recipe Of Poha :

 INGREDIENTS :

·         1.5 cups poha - white beaten rice or flattened rice
·         1 large onion, finely chopped
·         ¼ tsp turmeric powder
·         1 tsp mustard seeds
·         2 or 2.5 tbsp peanuts
·         10-12 curry leaves
·         1 green chilli,chopped
·         1 tsp sugar or as required
·         1 or 1.5 tbsp oil
·         salt as required
·         Procedure :

·        rinse the poha in water till they soften.
·        they should loose their crunchiness and when you break them between your finger.
·        dry roast the peanuts in a pan till they become crunchy
·        heat oil in the same pan.
·        crackle the mustard seeds first.
·        then add onions and saute them till they become translucent.
·        add curry leaves and green chilies.
·        saute for half a minute.
·        now add sugar, salt and turmeric powder to the poha and gently mix.
·        add the roasted peanuts and stir.
·        add the poha and stir.
·        cover and steam the poha for 2-3 minutes on a low flame.
·        switch off the fire and let the poha remain covered for 1-2 minutes.
·        remove the lid and sprinkle some lemon juice.
·        give a gentle stir and serve kanda poha or onion poha hot.
