Kerela
Masala Sabji is a delicious indian recipe. It Makes a delicious side dish for
dal or rice.
All over
india kerela is famous for its bitterness and its found in several varities
like different color and size.
Yes, its
Bitter in taste but its too healthy to eat it says that it keeps blood clean.
Kerela used to be not so involved in my menu before I tried this recipe.
The recipe I am going to
share is the recipe I have learned from one of my dear friend.
Recipe:-
Ingredients:-
- 2 to 3 medium sized kerela's
- 1 large onion
- 5 to 6 Cashew Nuts
- 1tsp Turmeric Powder
-1tspCoriander Powder
-A pinch Amchur Powder
-Salt to taste
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp Jeera
- Red chilli powder to taste
- 2 tspSugar
-Oil for cooking.
Procedure:
* Cut Kerela's into thin wedges , deseeded and parboiled.
* chop onions thinly slices.
* Chop Cashew nuts and fry till golden brown.
* Now , Take a pan add oil to it .
* add fennel seed , jeera and onions to it.now add kerela's to it.
*now add turmeric, coriander,amchur , salt,red chillies powder.
* After one minute add sugar and stir well.
Add cashew in the end and serve Hot.
