Potato Wedges || How to make Potato Wedges at home...


Potato wedges the restaurant style at home is quite easy to make .
Everyone loves this snack . we can have this as a side dish for burgers , pizzas and yes with pastas…
I have tried for the first time at home and it came out to be the crunchier potato wedges.


Potato wedges the restaurant style recipes given below :-

Ingredients :-

Potatoes - 3 or 4
Maida - 1/2 cup
Chilly Flakes - 1 tsp
Mixed Herbes - 1 tsp (optional)
Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - for frying

Procedure step by step with photos :-

-Wash potatoes and pat dry with towel.


- Slice them  lengthwise, into 4 equally sized wedges, so they cook uniformly.

 Boil 3 to 4 cups of water in a pan.
Add the potato slices & ½ tsp of salt to the hot water .
Cover and cook until the potatoes are three-fourth done.


 Then, In a bowl, take all purpose flour, red chilly flakes,  mixed herbs(available  at  Indian stores), chat masala pwd and salt.



-Mix it very well.
-Now strain the ¾ th cooked potatoes using a strainer.
-Toss the pototo slices in the spicy flour mixture meticulously,  to coat them evenly.


Fry them in deep oil at medium flame. Fry them till 
golden brown.


Serve hot.. 
Sprinkle some salt , pepper or chat masala if you want too.
